In other words, the pieces examine relationships and the changes we experience in life.<\/p>\n<p>Vilma M\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nen\u2019s works are created using tempera and fresco techniques. She crafts most of the pigments herself, using mineral stones and plant-based pigments, such as indigo.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n\t<div  class=\"ktt-media-and-text mt-0 text-body bg-body ktt-media-and-text--manual\" data-bs-theme=light>\n\t\t<div class=\"container-xxl\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"row align-items-center g-md-0\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ktt-media-and-text__media-container col-12 col-md-6 order-last order-md-first\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"w-100\" src=\"https:\/\/kuvataidetalo.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/vilma_maattanen_studio_1-768x768.jpg\" alt=\"Vilma M\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nen \">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ktt-media-and-text__text-container col-12 col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"ktt-media-and-text__title \">Vilma M\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nen<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ktt-media-and-text__description\"><p>Vilma M\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nen (b. 1989, lives in Helsinki) graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki in 2019 and a Bachelor of Philosophy majoring in cultural studies from the University of Gothenburg in 2022.
