Meria Palin is an illustrator and author based in Tampere.
She graduated with a Master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art in 2019. Her debut work Taikapuikot (Etana Editions, 2020), illustrated with colored pencils, was selected as one of the children’s and young adult books in the Finland’s Most Beautiful Books competition.
Her book Saippuakuplakuiskaus (text by Reetta Niemelä, Enostone, 2023) was chosen as one of the Finnish IBBY magazine’s Picture Book Treasures of the Year.
