Katja Öhrnberg has been working as an artist for three decades after graduating from art school. She has exhibited both at home and abroad (22 solo exhibitions and 99 group exhibitions) and has organised group exhibitions. Her most recent exhibitions abroad have been in the United Arab Emirates and Beni (2022), Germany and Estonia (2021). An important solo exhibition was in Amos Rex’s Söderlångvik (2020). Öhrnberg has always sought to emphasise the independence of her artistic approach and to create new perspectives to attract the viewer into the visual world, whether she works in painting, sculpture or community art. In addition to private collections, her paintings are in the collections of the State and Raasepor, among others.
