Kalle Turakka Purhonen (born 1974) is a multimedia artist graduated from Helsinki Art Academy.
“I make a wide range of art; painting, large and small 3D-works, installations, community and environmental art and performance art. In addition to my personal work, I do a wide range of collaborations, from more limited projects with another artist, to longer-term work with different artist groups and active participation in artist associations. I have worked as a full-time visual artist for over 20 years, mainly in Finland, but also abroad, especially in Germany and Sweden.”
