Jussi Matilainen (b. 1979) is a visual artist living and working in Pori, Finland, whose work focuses on digital media.
“Originally and by training I am a painter. I got into working with moving image mainly through performance art. From video performances and material produced as part of performances, I have moved into animation and camera work. My video works are more often slowly transforming live images than narrative entities.”
