Art Kaarisilta is a special art gallery in the heart of Helsinki. The majority of the gallery’s exhibitions showcase the work of artists with special needs, such as people with intellectual disabilities and autism, and promote them on an equal footing with other artists. The gallery space is also rented out to other individuals and organisations.
Art Kaarisilta opened in Sanomatalo in Helsinki in February 2009. The gallery is run by Kaarisilta ry. in Nastola, which provides cultural day and work activities and vocational training in visual arts and music for people with special needs.
