The Finnish Illustration Associationis an expert organisation whose core activities are to lobby for the illustration industry, promote fair rules and entrepreneurship in the industry and support illustrators in their work. The association’s activities are member-oriented, combining expertise in the situation and characteristics of the illustration industry with social, artistic and business understanding.
The central mission of the Association is to support Finnish professional illustrators in developing their profession and harnessing its business potential, and to contribute to the well-being of illustration professionals. Founded in 2018, Galleria Kuvitus is Finland’s first gallery focused on illustration art and its current phenomena.
