Finnish Artists’ Studio Foundation

The Studio Foundation of the Finnish Artists’ Association is a foundation established in 1990 by Finnish visual artists, which acquires and rents affordable studios, studio apartments and other working spaces for visual artists, and works in other ways to improve the working conditions of visual artists. The Foundation also promotes international working opportunities for artists by maintaining studios abroad, running a guest studio programme and offering residency exchanges. The Foundation also acts as a cooperation point for Finnish residencies and collects and disseminates information on residencies.
