The Federation of Finnish Photographic Artists is a nationwide interest organisation whose mission is to strengthen the social status and appreciation of photography and photographic artists in Finland. The association provides visibility, forums and networks for photographic art and its creators, and contributes to increasing the cultural capital of our society.
At the core of the association’s activities are information and advice for its members, the sale of Finnish photography, exhibitions and the organisation of events related to photography. In addition to its member artists, the Association answers questions on photographic art for private individuals, companies and public administration. The Association of Photographic Artists has over 450 members.
The association runs the Hippolyte Photography Gallery and Hippolyte Garage in Helsinki.
