About the Exhibition
Ocean’s Skeleton is an animation on the ocean’s bones, the joints of the waves, humankind and dark waters. It takes the viewer from the surface of the sea all the way to the depths, where dark waves rise bigger and stronger than anything ever human-built.
The work is made by combining drawing and animation of different techniques. At MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre, Ocean’s Skeleton is presented as a three-channel large-scale installation, where the image moves seamlessly from one projection surface to another.
