Does music make you move? Experience music created through movement!
In a unique performance by Stefan Klaverdal and Minna Tervamäki, music is built in real-time from the sounds of the space, the audience, and the performance itself—manipulated through movement. In this performance, nothing is predetermined. The music isn’t pre-composed, nor is there a pre-planned choreography. Everything you see and hear is created spontaneously in the immediate present of the performance.
The music emerges slowly from words, random audience sounds, or the rustling of clothing, transforming into something entirely new—a story no one has heard before.
Swedish composer and artist Stefan Klaverdal has worked with sound for nearly 30 years, continually seeking new ways to shape ordinary sounds into music through electronic techniques.
Moving Sound is brought to life in collaboration with dancer-choreographer Minna Tervamäki, known for challenging herself in creative encounters to explore ever-new ways of perceiving the dramaturgy of dance.
