Founded in 2018, Galleria Kuvitus is Finland’s first gallery focusing on illustration and its current phenomena. The exhibition programme focuses on contemporary illustration. Galleria Kuvitus offers an inspiring glimpse into the world of Finnish illustration. At the same time, the gallery aims to develop unprejudiced and experimental approaches to presenting and telling the story of illustration. A total of 8-9 exhibitions of illustrations are presented in the gallery each year. The gallery is run by the Finnish Illustration Association.
